You could come to grief if you rely on SatNav. Follow these directions instead.
With a heavy or large vehicle get yourself onto the Huddersfield ring road, follow the A62 signs for Oldham and Manchester (not Leeds!), 400 mtr from the ring road you will pass a Wickes DIY store followed by two sets of traffic lights, another 250 mtrs takes you under a steel railway bridge, immediately after the bridge take the left filter at the next traffic lights, passing to the left of the Junction pub, this is signposted to Crosland Moor and is called Blackmoorfoot rd, follow this road for around 3 miles, past Johnsons Quarry on the left, the golf course on the right, you will drop down now into Blackmoorfoot, as the road climbs again you will pass the Bulls Head pub on your right, ¼ mile further you take the next right turn along High House Edge, we are ½ mile along this road on a crossroads, you cant miss us.
Should you have satellite navigation it may not find us in Linthwaite, try High House Edge, Slaithwaite, it isn’t correct but it works on some systems. Be warned! Two of the approaches to the crossroads that we occupy are best left alone, High House Lane is a 1 in 4 road that is 10ft wide at its narrowest. Linfit Lane is suitable for up to 2 axle 18 tonners but nothing larger, countless artics have come to grief on its 1 in 5 double bend, don’t say you weren’t warned.
